The Puresense Treatment is a multi-step facial that uses the Derma Bell device to deliver a customized skin experience tailored to your unique needs. Here's a breakdown of the key steps involved:
1. Double Cleansing
The treatment begins with a thorough double cleansing to remove dirt, makeup, and impurities, ensuring your skin is perfectly prepped for the treatment.
2. Steam
A gentle steam is applied to open the pores and prepare the skin for the next steps, helping to soften the skin and make extractions easier if needed.
3. Step 1: AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid)
AHA is used to improve skin texture by exfoliating dead skin cells, revealing smoother, more glowing skin. It helps to brighten the complexion and promote skin renewal, making your skin feel soft and refreshed.
4. Step 2: BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid)
BHA is ideal for controlling oil production, especially in the T-zone, and helps to clear up congested pores. Using the Dermabell device, gentle suction removes blackheads and whiteheads, deep cleaning the skin from within. This step works to reduce pore size and leave the skin looking clearer and more refined.
5. Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C
To nourish and hydrate, Hyaluronic Acid deeply moisturises the skin, restoring its natural plumpness. Vitamin C works to brighten the skin and even out the skin tone, helping to fade dark spots and acne marks while giving your skin an instant glow.
6. Extraction (if necessary)
If you have clogged pores or blackheads, our expert aestheticians will carefully perform extractions to clear up the skin and prevent future breakouts.
7. Oxygen Treatment
A refreshing oxygen infusion is applied to help revive the skin, promoting a healthy, refreshed look. This step encourages optimal absorption of active ingredients, leaving your skin feeling energised.
8. Cool RF (Radio Frequency)
Cool RF technology is used to tighten and tone the skin, giving you a smoother and firmer appearance. It also helps to calm and soothe the skin after the treatment.
9. Infrared & LED Light Therapy
We use a combination of Infrared Light and Blue/Red LED Light to target skin rejuvenation. Infrared Light helps to stimulate collagen production, while Blue/Red LED Light addresses acne, reduces inflammation, and accelerates skin healing. Together, they leave your skin looking revitalised and glowing.
10. Cool Mask
A cooling mask is applied to calm and soothe the skin, reducing any redness or irritation from the previous steps.
11. Toner, Serum, Moisturiser & Sunscreen
To complete the treatment, we apply a toner to balance the skin's pH, followed by a serum tailored to your skin’s needs. We finish with a moisturiser to lock in hydration and a protective sunscreen to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.
Preparation & Aftercare
1. Cleanse Your Skin:
Arrive with a clean face free from makeup, oils, or heavy skincare products. This ensures that the treatment can penetrate your skin effectively without interference.
- Use a gentle cleanser in the morning to remove any impurities from the skin’s surface.
2. Avoid Active Skincare Products:
To avoid irritation or sensitivities, discontinue the use of strong exfoliants (like retinoids, retinols, or products with AHA/BHA) 48–72 hours before your treatment. These ingredients may make the skin more sensitive, and it's best to avoid them before your session.
3. Avoid Sun Exposure:
Refrain from sun exposure for at least 48 hours before your treatment, and avoid tanning beds or intense heat. Skin that is sunburned or overly sensitive may react poorly to exfoliating treatments.
4. No Waxing or Hair Removal:
If you've recently had waxing, threading, or laser hair removal on your face, make sure to allow at least 2-3 days before your Puresense treatment. These procedures may leave your skin more sensitive, and applying the Puresense Treatment immediately afterward could cause irritation.
5. Consult About Skin Conditions:
If you have active acne, eczema, rosacea, or other significant skin conditions, it’s important to consult with our expert ahead of time to ensure that this treatment is right for you.
