The DPL PRO technology harnesses the power of light therapy at different wavelengths to treat specific skin conditions. Here’s how the different handpieces work:

AR 420-520nm (Acne & Acne Scars): Targets acne-causing bacteria, reduces inflammation and helps heal acne scars.
PR 550-650nm (Wrinkles, Freckles, Age Spots, Pigmentation, Sun Damage): Improves skin texture, reduces wrinkles and fine lines, and fades freckles, age spots, and sun damage.

Preparation & Aftercare

4 weeks prior to the treatment

Do not sunbathe or use sun beds.
Do not use fake tans.

1 week prior to the treatment

Discontinue any irritative topical actives such as Tretinoin, Retinol, AHA/BHA, Vitamin C.
Do not wax, thread, or tweeze hair from the treatment area.
Do not use depilatory creams or bleach hair in the treatment area.
Do not have electrolysis on the treatment area.
Reduce sun exposure.

2 days prior to the treatment

Do not take anti-inflammatory medicine.
Do not smoke or drink alcohol.

Apply a wrapped cool compress or wrapped ice pack to the treatment areas for 10 minutes every 1-2 hours as needed to reduce post treatment swelling and redness.
Use mild cleanser twice daily for 3-5 days, and do not rub the skin vigorously.
Use regular non-occlusive hydrating cream to keep treatment area hydrated until your skin has resumed normal function (5-7 days).
Avoid hot baths, sauna, sweat inducing exercise for 2-3 days.
Strict sun protection and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 50+ for 4 weeks after your treatment.
Avoid harsh topical products such as AHAs, BHAs, vitamin A for at least 7 days.
May resume wearing makeup as normal 2 days after the procedure. Make sure makeup brushes are clean and there are no crusts or scabs on skin before you resume cosmetics.
Do not scratch, pick, pull at or abrade the treated skin. If a crust or scab occurs, you can apply topical wound gel or antibiotic ointment twice daily until it comes off naturally.
Avoid shaving and waxing in the areas of treatment for 7 days.

Skin Care Recommendations for Post-Treatment

Cleanse Gently Cleanse your skin with cool water, avoid hot water, as it can cause inflammation. Use only your fingertips to cleanse, and refrain from using washcloths, loofahs, buff puffs, or sponges. We recommend AnteAGE Cleanser for optimal results.
Moisturise Frequently. Keep your skin hydrated to avoid discomfort and dryness. We recommend applying a moisturiser regularly, especially after cleansing, to maintain skin hydration.

For Clients Over 30 Years Old

- Use Procell MD System Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator to support skin recovery and enhance results.

- Apply AnteAGE Hyaluronic Acid Gliding Solution to maintain hydration.

- AnteAGE Bio Gel can be applied as needed on sensitive areas or the entire face if peeling occurs until your skin feels normal.

- For best results, use these products multiple times per day, adjusting based on your skin's needs. Consistent daily use will help maintain long-lasting improvements.

For Clients Under 30 Years Old

- Apply ProCell Pro Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator to aid recovery and improve results.

- Apply AnteAGE Hyaluronic Acid Gliding Solution to maintain hydration.

- AnteAGE Bio Gel can be applied as needed on sensitive areas or the entire face if peeling occurs until your skin feels normal. For best results, use these products multiple times per day, adjusting based on your skin's needs. Consistent daily use will help maintain long-lasting improvements.

- After 7–10 Days Once your skin feels back to normal, we recommend using La Reine Youth Power Creme to get the best results and experience a true skin transformation and promote healing by locking in moisture, reducing the risk of bacterial infection, and minimising redness and irritation.

3. Protect Your Skin from the Sun To protect your skin, use a physical sunscreen containing Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours while outdoors.

Many healthcare providers apply a cooling gel to the skin prior to treatment to minimize any discomfort. Overall, IPL treatment is generally well-tolerated, and any discomfort experienced is typically mild and temporary. If you have concerns about pain or discomfort during the procedure, it is best to discuss them with your healthcare provider beforehand.
